Our Future Stars program is for skaters looking to take the next step into semi-private lessons. Classes offered are Basic 4 through Free Skate 4. Skater will receive a Future Stars Jacket for first time enrollment.
This is an accelerated program to unify the male members of Learn to Skate. Icemen creates lasting friendships and comradery by providing instruction to further their skating skills while skating in small groups with their peers and role models.
In addition to their group class, skaters may receive a 15 minute private lesson during their practice time. You may request 1 week or all 8 weeks if available. Instructors may rotate. Space is limited! It is available to Basic 2 - 6 skaters enrolled in classes only. MUST EMAIL jengoen@gmail.com TO REGISTER.
Skaters interested in pursuing skating at a more competitive level. Ask our Learn to Skate Director, Jennifer Goen, about private lessons.
You can be measured, fitted and purchase skates at The Detroit Custom Skate Shop located in our arena by the West rink. We recommend skaters to wear their own skates, especially by Basic 3.
