In an effort to provide the highest quality instructionalice skating classes for the Canton community, this year's classes will be structured with the USFSA Basic Skills "Skate With Us" program. Toddlers through adults will be introduced to correct skating techniques in a fun, safe, and rewarding environment. Skaters will have the opportunity to earn achievement badges as they progress. Whenever your goal is to achieve Olympic fame or simply to enjoy the recreational benefits of skating, our "Skate With Us" program is for you!




Registration includes a membership with the U.S.F.S.A.

Attention:
All Students New To The Sport
Of Skating Should Sign Up For Basic 1 (Or Snow Plow Sam 1 If Ages 4-6 Years). Skaters Will Be Evaluated The First Day Of Class For Class Level Placement.

All Class Sessions Are Eight Weeks Long

Saturdays Only
April 17, 2010 - June 12, 2010
10:00am - 10:45am or 11:00 - 11:45am

NO CLASSES:
May 29th, 2010

No Make-ups for Missed Classes
Each class is 30 minutes with 15
minutes of full ice practice time.

Skaters Will Receive A USFSA Record Book, And An Evaluation At The
Conclusion Of Each Session.

PROGRAMS

Snow Plow Sam

Snow Plow Sam (Beginners)
For skaters ages 4-6 who have had little or
no formal skating training.

Basic Skills

Basic 1-2
For skaters age 6 and older with little or no skating experience, or for skaters who have completed the Snow Plow Sam series.

Basic 3-4
For skaters age 6 and older who are able to skate forward, backward and stop, or skaters who have completed Basic 2.

Basic 5-6
For skaters age 6 and older who are able to skate forward, backward with ease, stop both directions, and do crossovers, or skaters who have completed Basic 4

Basic 7-8
For skaters who can do crossovers forward and backwards in each direction.

Freestyle 1-4

We Reserve The Right To Combine Classes
That Have Fewer Than Two Skates. Achievement Badges Can Be Purchased For $1.00 Each.
We Reserve The Right To Cancel Classes
That Have 3 Or Less Skaters.

Basic Skills Skaters Can Sign Up For Figure Skating School General Sessions. The Arctic Edge Offers Sessions For More Advanced Skaters.
